UPS RepairTo repair or replace is the question. The most common cause of UPS equipment failure is due to battery failure. This is especially true if the batteries are over 2 years old. Smaller UPS units typically have an expected battery life of between 2 and 4 years, while larger UPS units may have a higher quality battery with an expected battery life of approximately 3 to 8 years. Useful battery life depends on factors such as battery quality, environmental conditions and the application of the battery. We stock replacement batteries for apc, Powerware, Fenton, Best, Liebert, Tripplite and more. Our repair costs are extremely competitive. We charge a $50 estimate fee to determine the repair costs. If we repair the unit, or another UPS is purchased from us, (New or Refurbished), the estimate fee is waived. You will only be charged for the repair or replacement.
